AUBURN, Ala.- Auburn Parks and Recreation will host its annual Earth Day celebration with all Auburn City Schools second graders April 9-11 at the Jan Dempsey Community Arts Center and Frank Brown Recreation Center.

During the event, students will engage in various educational activities such as crafting, recycling awareness, observing an enviroscape, receiving valuable insights from the Southern Company's Shoreline department and interacting firsthand with animals from the Kreher Preserve & Nature Center.
